Arrival in Lima
Upon arrival in Lima, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. They will provide you with a documentation kit that includes a detailed explanation of your program. Assistance with luggage and hotel registration will also be offered. Enjoy your first evening at leisure in Lima, resting in your hotel of choice. Meals Included: None
Lima
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a half-day city tour of Lima, known as the “City of Kings.” This tour will take you through both the modern and colonial parts of the city, beginning in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. You’ll pass by a sacred pre-Inca site (Huaca) and stop at Parque del Amor for breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. The tour continues to the Historic Centre, where you’ll explore the Main Square, Presidential Palace, Archbishop’s Palace, Municipality of Lima, and the Cathedral, along with a visit to one of the largest colonial-era convents. Return to your hotel for another overnight stay in Lima. Meals Included: Breakfast.
Lima to Sacred Valley
Following breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco (flight not included). Upon arrival in Cusco, a representative will meet you for your transfer to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, which offers a more gradual acclimatization due to its lower altitude compared to Cusco. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to rest and adjust to the altitude. Overnight: Hotel of your choice in the Sacred Valley. Meals Included: Breakfast.
Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a full-day tour of the Sacred Valley. Your first stop will be in Chinchero at the PARWA Center, where you can admire beautiful textiles. Visit the Chinchero church, built by the Spanish in 1607, and explore the nearby ruins that showcase Inca architecture. After lunch at a local restaurant, head to Ollantaytambo, where you’ll find the impressive Inca fortress that played a significant role in the resistance against Spanish forces. Later, board the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes for your overnight stay. Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch.
Machu Picchu to Cusco
Start your day with breakfast before visiting Machu Picchu, one of the world’s most significant archaeological sites. A professional tour guide will provide insights into the history and significance of this ancient site. After the guided tour, you’ll have time to explore independently, relax, or meditate. Later, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch before boarding your train back to Cusco, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel for the night. Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch.
Cusco
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a day at leisure to explore the charming city of Cusco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in history. Don’t miss key attractions like the Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), the San Blas artisan neighborhood, the Cathedral, and the impressive Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. If you wish to enhance your experience, an optional afternoon city tour and market visit are available at an additional cost. Overnight: Hotel of your choice in Cusco. Meals Included: Breakfast.
Cusco to Lima
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Lima, concluding your unforgettable journey in Peru.
