Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s national animal, and the famous Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang), offering panoramic views of Thimphu Valley. Continue to the Memorial Chorten and the impressive Tashichhodzong, a fortress and monastery. End the day with a visit to Bhutan Post, where you can create personalized postage stamps.

Thimphu – Punakha

After breakfast, depart for Punakha. On the way, stop at Druk Wangyel Chhorten at Dochula Pass, offering stunning views of the Himalayan range. Continue to Chimi Lhakhang, known as the Temple of Fertility, before arriving at Punakha Dzong, one of the most beautiful fortresses in Bhutan.

Punakha – Paro

After breakfast, transfer to Paro. Upon arrival, visit the majestic Rinpung Dzong and Ugyen Pelri Palace. Spend the afternoon exploring the local markets for unique handicrafts and souvenirs.

Paro – Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)

Start the day with a hike to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger’s Nest, perched on a cliffside offering breathtaking views. Afterward, visit Drugyal Dzong, a fortress that once defended Bhutan from Tibetan invasions. Spend the rest of the day exploring Paro at your leisure.

Depart Paro

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey. (B)
