Arrival in Baku & Panoramic Tour
Upon arrival at Baku International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, embark on your journey with a visit to Highland Park, offering panoramic views of the city. Next, visit the Alley of Martyrs, a significant memorial dedicated to those who lost their lives during the Soviet invasion. Continue the tour to see the impressive Flame Towers, the tallest skyscrapers in Baku, and the National Assembly (Milli Majlis). Conclude your day with a serene walk along Baku Boulevard, a charming promenade along the Caspian Sea, before enjoying the rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Baku.
Baku City Tour
After a delicious breakfast, the day begins with further exploration of Baku Boulevard, starting from Freedom Square and extending towards the Old City. Your tour will take you to the heart of Baku’s historical core, Icherisheher, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient architecture, including the Maiden Tower and the Palace of Shirvanshahs. Immerse yourself in the city’s rich history as you stroll through the Old City’s narrow streets. The tour then takes you to the striking Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid, celebrated for its futuristic and flowing design. After a full day of sightseeing, you’ll return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Baku.
Absheron Peninsula, Gobustan & Mud Volcanoes
Start your day with breakfast and head out to explore the Absheron Peninsula. Your first stop will be the Ateshgah Fire Temple, a place of worship for Hindus and Zoroastrians, famous for its eternal flames. Continue to Yanar Dag, also known as the Fire Mountain, where natural gas causes flames to continuously burn on the hillside. The tour then takes you to the Gobustan National Park, home to ancient petroglyphs and fascinating mud volcanoes. You will have the chance to see these natural phenomena up close, as well as the ancient carvings that date back thousands of years. After an adventurous day, you’ll return to Baku for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day Trip to Gabala
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Gabala, one of Azerbaijan’s most picturesque regions. Visit the Tufandaq Mountain Resort, where you can enjoy stunning views of the Caucasus Mountains and participate in activities like cable car rides and skiing (seasonal). The next stop is Gabaland, Azerbaijan’s largest open-air amusement park, which offers a variety of attractions for all ages. You’ll also visit Nohur Lake, a serene spot surrounded by mountains, perfect for a peaceful moment in nature. After exploring Gabala, you’ll return to Baku for your final overnight stay.
Departure
On the last day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. After check-out, you’ll be transferred to Baku International Airport for your flight back home, leaving with fond memories of your incredible journey through Azerbaijan.
